Advocates for Solar & Battery Storage.

PROGRESSIVE & COMMITTED

New Sol is a strong advocate for Solar and Battery Storage solutions for NZ businesses because we truly believe – The future of power is freedom.

We continue to build a reputation in the industry for providing the highest standards of customer service, care and communication when it comes to understanding solar + battery energy solutions. People are realising the opportunity with solar and with the aid of New Sol, truly understand where solar is being a good investment, what are the principle benefits and how/what to choose from all the options in the market.

We want NZ businesses be enabled, even as an on-grid customer, to take control of their energy generation and usage.

Mari’s Scandinavian upbringing fostered a strong green, and now solar energy, advocacy. Having studied Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies through Stanford University and completed a BBA, she has a strong focus on applying the information and proving the feasibility of solar and/or battery storages in NZ.

Mari has personal interest and shares her enthusiasm about how battery energy storages are on an innovation growth curve – knowing that there’s still work to be done, of course. However the New Sol team does see the battery storage and its evolution as part of a near future and is passionate more than ever to connect with New Zealand businesses all across the country to share our message of cost-effective, low carbon, flexible and resilient solar and energy storage solutions.

Progressive and committed to the future, we are driven by the ideology that the world could be powered entirely by renewable energy in just 20 to 40 years from now. Given that we already have the technology, it’s not that hard to imagine

Solar Viability Assessment

Why Switch To Solar?

Reduce Energy Costs

Commercial and industrial operations today face increasingly steep costs for electric power, as well as increasingly frequent and costly disruptions in the grid. These are costs that eat into the bottom line and, for some businesses, can severely affect their ability to operate profitably. With solar systems, you own your power, and generate free electricity for your system’s entire 25+ year lifecycle. Even if you don’t produce 100% of the energy you consume, a solar system can slash your costs by up to 90%.

Increased Property Value

Appraisers are increasingly taking solar installations into account as they value property for sale and in some cases, having solar has added up to 1.5 times the value. As people and businesses become more educated about solar energy production, the demand for properties equipped with solar will continue to grow.

Stay Competitive

Many companies are exploring solar power as a means to keep up. Be an early adopter and pull ahead of the competition.

Excellent Return on Investment

Solar panels aren’t an expense – they are one of the best ways to invest. With the costs of solar reducing rapidly and the costs of electricity increasing on average 4% every year, solar has become more financially viable. Thanks to substantial electricity bill savings, the average New Zealand business could pay off their solar system in four to six years and see an ROI of 10-15 percent or more.

Protect the Environment

Buildings are responsible for 20% of all carbon emissions in the New Zealand. When your business uses renewable solar energy to meet your energy needs, you reduce the demand for electricity from your utility. As a result, your utility plant emits less carbon when producing the power needed to meet customer demand. By using the renewable and emissions-free energy from the sun, solar does not have the negative environmental impacts and requirements of traditional methods, which include air pollution, exhausting natural resources for solid fuel (woodcharcoal, etc.), and spending significant time gathering and/or processing solid fuels.
